Game Description:

For the first time ever, simultaneous motion-capture sessions with 2 defenders trying to tackle a relentless ball carrier deliver sophisticated gang tackle sequences. See drag downs, shoves, upended tackles, linemen battling for position, pass protection blocks and running backs putting their hand on the turf to regain their balance. Also contains new catch animations, including bobble catches, one handed grabs and diving 2-handed snags.

NFL GameDay 2003 features arcade-style gameplay that translates into monstrous hits and legendary plays. New gameplay features allow offensive players to break tackles, stiff-arm defenders, or dive over the pile of would-be tacklers for the winning touchdown. Updated Total Control Passing allows quarterbacks to under-throw receivers. Thus leading them in any direction by simply pressing the directional pad. Also letting receivers make spectacular one-handed catches while tight-roping down the sidelines. Players can get a workout in Training Camp mode, and take on all comers in exhibition or season modes. Also even strap on the helmet for multiple seasons as coach, player, and general manager in the General Manager mode.
