World Championship Poker – PS2- is a high-stakes gambling video game. Thanks to Core soft and Crave Entertainment Entertainment’s World Championship Poker its the first for PS2. Firstly, this is the PlayStation 2’s first American poker title that includes such popular rule variations as Texas Hold’ em, Omaha Hold’ em, Seven-Card Stud, Five-Card Draw, and Pineapple. Also players can advance their skills in Career Mode as they play their way through over 50 different poker tournaments. These tournaments take place in six different locations (ranging from a tropical island to a Mississippi riverboat). They also take part in a tutorial created by professional card player, Howard Lederer via an interactive DVD. Users can even create customizable characters with more than 80 different options and hop online to see and hear their opponents with support from the PS2’s exclusive camera peripheral, Eye Toy.
